Owners and tenants in Alberta must follow the rules of the residential tenancy Act. This helps future mutually amicable agreements and is a way to protect your rights. Tenant of ObligationsTenants are required to pay the rent on time, the rights of neighbours respectfully, endanger not other tenants or the building to keep the premises reasonably clean and intact and not participate in illegal activities.
