The Connecticut tenant rights
Tenants in Connecticut State regardless of the nature which lease have many rights by the Attorney General. It is also your owner under a number of obligations to protect you as a tenant. RegulationsThe State offers requiring the owner to perform certain actions, such as complaints to official bodies of the landlord, a tenant Union to repair or repay. In addition, the owner may not interfere with your utility service, locks you out of your home or keep your assets. Discrimination on grounds of race, sex or disability prohibited.Fees and ChargesYour owner has the right to collect a deposit. For renters under age 62 years this fee may rent the equivalent not exceed two months. Otherwise, the owner can not entitled to rent from more than a month. It is also not authorized on the owner to lease refuse an apartment, based on the source of the lessee income.Prohibited AccessThe owner has no right to your home without your permission, give, unless there is an emergency, the landlord has an order of the Court of Justice or have moved to negotiate. The owners require "reasonable", give the apartment, show the building potential tenants to make the building or previously agreed during repairs to perform. The Act provides that "If you deny inappropriate rental owner, which owns not allowed yet give." The landlord must go before the courts and for an order to authorize the Court.
